Family Trip, Multiple Locations, WA / OR
These photos were taken on a trip my sister Ragen and I took to the Pacific Northwest to visit our brother Trevor (@gonemadephotography). We had an absolute blast hiking and exploring Washington and Oregon whilst arguing about the trail maps and accidentally walking 12 miles in one day as a result. We love a long walk.
On this trip, I was able to branch out of the typical Oklahoma scenery that I photograph and deal with gloomier, moodier lighting conditions which helped me develop my editing style. I would now describe my editing style as a mix of cinematic, muted colors and flat, soft contrast.
As mentioned in my wedding portfolio, my "bucket shot" would be to document an elopement at Cannon Beach, OR pictured below.
I am returning to the PNW this summer and will be absolutely focused on capturing every moment, maybe even filming some of it.
